Meet the team
Meet the Staff at the M.S Therapy Centre

The Centre has a team of four full-time staff members – who are available whilst the Centre is open (on Monday’s, Tuesday’s & Thursday’s).

Heading up the team is Fiona Arthurs, who is the Centre Manager. Fiona has worked at the Centre for the past three years.

Prior to working at the Centre, Fiona worked for 20 years in the community – caring for people in their own homes. She worked her way up the career ladder from a Carer to a Care Manager, where she managed a team of 45 Carers. Fiona has a Level 3 in Health & Social Care.

In her spare time, Fiona enjoys spending time with her Grandchildren, walking & reading.

Supporting Fiona, as Deputy Manager, is Karen. Karen has been working at the Centre for the past four years. Karen supports Fiona in running the Centre, on a day to day basis. She is based in the Reception area, & she ensures that all Centre administration is kept up to date; as well as answering the telephone, walk up & e-mail enquiries.

Fiona & Karen are supported by Edd. Edd has been working at the Centre for the past four years. His primary role is to oversee the operation of the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy facility as Oxygen Treatment Co-ordinator. However he tends to help out in other areas of the Centre too (when needed) including: garden maintenance, general Centre maintenance, helping in the Cafe, cleaning, & Reception cover.

Edd enjoys working at the Centre, & he strongly believes that people should have fun here; he enjoys making others laugh. Edd believes that, “being part of this Centre is therapy in itself!”

Edd has an active interest in local politics & healthcare provision.

The final member of the team is Pam. She has been working at the M.S Therapy Centre for the last five years, as the Cafe Kitchen Manager. Pam has an NVQ Level 2 in Food Production, & enjoys creating & preparing a variety of meals for the members.

Pam enjoys being let loose in the kitchen, & she also enjoys interacting with everyone at the Centre.

In her spare time, Pam enjoys helping out in the community; she leads the local Cub’s Brigade. Pam also enjoys gardening, cycling & having leisure time with her sons.

Pam’s advice is, “if you’re thinking of visiting us, do it! You will enter a stranger and leave as a friend!”
